Apple Unexpectedly Seeds iOS 7 Beta 6 to Developers, Update Fixes Issue With iTunes in the Cloud

Apple has just released the sixth beta version of iOS 7 to developers for testing purposes. The update is available as an over-the-air update to existing beta testers and it can also be downloaded via Apple’s Developer Center.

It was rumored earlier today that Beta 6 might be released next week, roughly two weeks after the release of Beta 5; however, the odd timing of this release — Apple traditionally releases new iOS betas to developers on Monday mornings — along with its small size, only 13.5MB on an iPhone 5, suggests that it could be some kind of urgent bug fix.

As rumours of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S release date for September ramp up, more concept videos have been showcased, perhaps as a way for avid Apple users to get their wish list of features out of their systems until the time comes for the big reveal.

For the iPhone 6, the edge-to-edge display seems to be of great interest to many. Recently, there has been a rather comprehensive concept created by artist Johnny Plaid, wherein his version of the iPhone 6 had edge-to-edge Retina 2 display.

iPhoneHacks has reported this concept, which also has multi-touch sensors to replace the home button, a MagSafe-based charger, redesigned microphone mesh for noise cancellation, and a RealD layered display concept.

Another concept, this time created into a concept video forConceptsiPhone, was by Nikola Cirkovic and Ran Avni, and also features the edge-to-edge display.

In the video, you can see the black and white versions of the device minus the bezels at the sides. There are also new volume and ring or silent buttons, a 5-inch display, a new design, a new capacitive home button, and the thickness, which is pegged to be at 5.3mm.
